Cricut® Gypsy 101 eBook class
The Cricut® Gypsy is also known as "the handheld Design Studio". We say it's BETTER than Design Studio. We couldn't live without our Gypsy, and as soon as you get started with the Cricut® Gypsy 101 class, you won't be able to live without yours, either!
The Cricut® Gypsy allows you to virtually take all of your cartridges with you on the go. Even if you're not travelling to a crop, you'll love no longer having to pull out your cartridge boxes, locate the right cartridge, change the keypad overlay, change the cartridge...and FINALLY cut your shape! The Cricut® Gypsy puts all of your cartridges at your finger tips.
The Cricut® Gypsy also allows you to weld letters and shapes to create custom titles and even entirely new shapes. It's a very powerful program!
Officially, production of the Gypsy has now been discontinued. But we will continue to provide the class books as long as there is a demand for them! (See official discontinuation notice here.)
What You'll Learn
In the Cricut® Gypsy 101 eBook class, you'll learn to use many of the features of your Gypsy, and thoroughly familiarize yourself with the beautiful Gypsy Font digital cartridge (which comes pre-loaded on your Gypsy). Things you will learn:
- Cut letters to spell a word with Gypsy Font (Exercise 1)
- Weld letters to cut a word as one piece (Exercise 2)
- Cut seven different Upper Case alphabet styles (Exercise 3)
- Cut seven different Lower Case alphabet styles
(Exercise 4)
- Cut ten different solid shapes (Exercise 5)
- Cut ten matching filigree shapes (Exercise 6)
- Cut five different flowers and leaves (Exercise 5)
- How to use Real Dial Size Paper Saver (Exercise 6)
You'll also learn how to maneuver around the virtual cutting mat and how to use the basic buttons and features of the Gypsy software.
What You'll Need
You will be working with the Gypsy (handheld Design Studio). So you will need your Gypsy and all included cords. You'll also need a Cricut® diecutting machine. You will be using the Gypsy font for the exercises, which is pre-loaded on the Gypsy.
What You'll Do
As you follow along with the step-by-step instructions, you will lay out the six exercises on the Gypsy, using the Gypsy font. Then you'll cut out the exercises, which can be mounted on cardstock and placed in a scrapbook or 3-ring binder for easy reference.
Format
The Cricut® Create class is available as an instantly downloadable PDF eBook, which can be viewed on your computer, tablet, or eBook reader.
